Important Information for Volunteers
Volunteers agree to provide 12 hours of volunteering. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Expect to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods. If you have mobility needs, please inform us so we can accommodate you.
Take your role seriously; all tasks are vital to the festival’s success, represent Radiance positively and contribute to the safety and enjoyment of our attendees.
Wear your shirt and shoes at all times during your shift; Parking team members will wear a safety shirt if provided. Come to your shift sober and well-rested. You may be assigned/reassigned as needed; flexibility is essential.
If you do not show for your assigned shift, you will be charged for your full weekend camping pass.

- Customer Service – Answer questions and provide information about the festival layout, schedules, and amenities. Assist attendees with disabilities or special needs. Handle complaints and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Coordination and Communication – Communicate with other festival staff via radios or other communication tools. Report any incidents or emergencies to the appropriate authorities. Coordinate with security and medical teams as needed.
- Gate Setup and Breakdown – Assist with setting up the gate area, including signage and barriers. Ensure the gate area remains clean and organized. Help with packing up and dismantling the gate area post-event.

- Customer Service – Provide information about festival schedules, activities, and amenities. Address any questions or concerns from families. Assist with lost and found items.
- Facilities Management – Ensure restrooms, showers, and common areas are clean and well-maintained. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Activities and Entertainment – Organize and facilitate family-friendly activities and games. Coordinate with performers or workshop leaders for scheduled events. Encourage participation and ensure a fun experience for children.
- Medical and Emergency Assistance – Be aware of emergency procedures and locations of first aid stations. Assist in minor first aid situations and call for medical help if needed. Help with lost children or any family emergencies.

Sanitation and Maintenance
2 Morning shifts – Work from 8:30 to 2:30
2 Evening shifts – Work from 5:00 to 11:00 (probably not that late)

- Drive utility vehicle through camping areas to pick up trash bags
